Gem & Gold Panning 
Daily at the Museum During Summer Months 10-4


Try your hand at finding Cripple Creek turquoise, topaz and other gems as well as real gold. The Victor Lowell Thomas Museum hosts panning Memorial Day Weekend thru the end of September and panning for real gold over Gold Rush Days the third weekend in July. The panning trough is open weather allowing; closed during inclement weather and for safety during thunderstorms.
