The Victor Lowell Thomas Museum manages the reservations and check-in for the CC&V Mine Tours. SSR Mining Cripple Creek & Victor is solely responsible for all tour operations, guest safety, and content of the tours. Tour guests are required to follow all safety rules and directions, and may be removed from or refused a tour for lack of respect for the rules, fellow guests, and tour guides. Tour Reservations are best made online; online reservations get first priority. If you may call the Museum to make a reservation, 719-689-5509, you must speak to someone in person. Leaving a message on the Museum voicemail or emailing the Museum does not guarantee you have a reservation. Walkins (those without reservations) will be allowed on tours on a first-come, first-served, space-available basis; walkins must be at the Museum 15 minutes ahead of the tour time. All online reservations take precedent over phone reservations - so the best way to be sure you have a reservation is to book online via the calendar on this page. All reservatons are subject to a 6% booking fee, paid by the tour guest. Set high in the scenic mountains west of Pikes Peak, the Cripple Creek & Victor Mining District remains one of Colorado’s most productive gold regions. Please note these tours are at high elevation - 10,000 feet above sea level - and may not be suited to all individuals. Policies: Tours start at the Victor Lowell Thomas Museum, 298 Victor Avenue, Victor, Colorado. Tours start promptly at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. - arrive 15 minutes ahead of the tour time for check in and safety instructions. No shows and late arrivals will not receive a refund. All children must be at least 5 years of age. Pets are not allowed on tours. Tour goers must wear long pants and closed toe shoes - no shorts or sandals All guests must wear hard hats, vests, and safety glasses provided by the mine. All tour guests must sign a waiver of liablity . All tours must be prepaid online, by phone or in person, to secure a reservation. All tickets are $15 per person. Tours are not wheelchair accessible.
